Associate Professor Nicole Williams is a paediatric orthopaedic surgeon and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. She has completed clinical fellowships at the Queensland Children’s Hospital and a Lumley Surgical Exchange Scholarship at the renowned Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in London. Her areas of special interest include the management of complex childhood bone and joint disease in infants, children and adolescents including hip dysplasia, sports injuries and scoliosis. She is also involved in the training of junior orthopaedic surgeons and has a research interest in the effects of instrumentation on serum metal ion levels following spinal fusion surgery.
